To apply you must be 18 years old and over
“Product(s)”: Any items (including, without limitation, apparel, shoes, handbags, and accessories) available for hire from the Lender
“Lender”: The user who owns the Product(s) that is/are available to other users to hire and who lends the same to a Hirer
“Hirer”: The user who hires the Product(s) from the Lender
“Rent Event”: A Crease promotional event whereby Crease members can schedule and try on rental's for product(s) in person
“RRP” or “Retail Price”: The current recommended retail price of a Product to an end consumer as officially suggested by a manufacturer of such Product to a retailer (“RRP”) or to the extent that and RRP is not available, the estimated value of the Product as determined in good faith by the Lender
“Promotional Hire Fee”: The promotional hire fee to hire a Product as stated by Crease at the Rent Event in respect of the relevant Product
"Hire Fee": The rental price (as determined by the Lender and Crease); including any applicable dry cleaning fees. Shipping costs not included.
"Rental Request": The form a Hirer submits via the Crease website to rent a Product
"Hire Confirmation": An order confirmation confirming the hire of a Product, stating Product details, specified dates of hire plus any existing defects with the Product

1. Rent Event | How it works
Users (Hirers and Lenders) register as members via the Crease website
If a Hirer wishes to rent a Product, they fill out a rental request form via the Crease website specifying Product code and dates of hire
If the Product is available on the requested dates, the hire will be confirmed and the Hirer will pay for the hire to secure the rental
Products being listed are in good, wearable condition. If there are known markings, these will be made known to Crease and the participating users and will be listed on the Hire Confirmation
If the Hirer loses or damages the Product (beyond normal wear and tear) the Hirer agrees to pay for either the repair or the full RRP or Estimated Retail Value (as applicable) of the Product
Normal wear and tear is determined and at the sole discretion of Crease
Hirers are responsible for looking after Products in their possession with the utmost respect and care
Lenders are responsible for cleaning the Product. Hirers simply send them back to the returns address provided on the Hire Confirmation
Hirers agree to return Products by no later than their specified ‘end hire date’ by either post or in person. If a Product is posted, the Hirer must keep a proof of postage. If a Product is not received back and no proof of postage is provided the Hirer will be responsible and must pay the RRP or Estimated Retail Value (as applicable) of the Product
Crease is a friendly community and expects good faith when liaising with Hirers
2. Hirer’s Responsibility for Products
As a Hirer, you agree to treat the Product(s) with great care, as if it was borrowed from your close friend. You are responsible for loss, destruction or damage to the Product(s) due to theft, mysterious disappearance, fire, stains or any other cause, other than normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear encompasses minor stains which can be easily removed through washing or dry cleaning, missing beads, stuck zippers or other minor damage of the applicable Product. If a Hirer returns a Product(s) that is damaged beyond normal wear and tear, then you agree that we shall charge you, and you shall pay, for the price for repairing or replacing the Product(s), as determined in our discretion, up to the RRP or Estimated Retail Value (as applicable) for the Product(s).
3. Shipping / Returns
For the Rent Event only, Crease will ship Products to Hirers in the UK at the Lender’s cost. This cost will be deducted from the Hire Fee. Hirers agree to pay for the return of the Product(s), or agree to return the Product(s) in person, if both parties (Hirers and Lenders) are able and willing to do so.
For rental's submitted and confirmed through the Crease website, the Lender is responsible for shipping the Product, once Crease has confirmed payment from the Hirer. The Lender must ship the Product to arrive one day before the rental date commences. It is then the responsibility of the Hirer to ship the item back, the day the rental finishes.
Both Lenders and Hirers must ensure Product's are shipped with proof of postage.
If a Lender would like to meet the Hirer in person to deliver a Product, Crease will connect both parties, after payment has been made by the Hirer. We recommend you meet in a public place.
4. Pricing | Fees & Payment
Prices listed at a Rent Event and on the Crease website are per day and have been determined by the Lender. Prices may be negotiated by Hirers for rentals of one week or longer. The Hirer must contact Crease, who will liaise with the Lender on behalf of the Hirer and confirm a new (lower) rental price, if confirmed by the Lender.
When Lender's liaise with Crease to confirm their Product's information, they must ensure their Hire Fee includes Dry Cleaning costs, if these are applicable. It is the responsibility of the Lender to clean their item once they receive it back from the Hirer.
Rental prices are per day, there is a minimum rental period of two days.
B. Fees and Payment
The Hirer must pay the Hire Fee to Crease to confirm the rental on the date of the Rent Event.
If a Hirer submits a Rental Request through the Crease website and it is accepted, they must pay the Hire Fee once they receive their Hire Confirmation. Crease will notify Lender's to ship items once payment has been received.
Hirer's are charged an additional 15% of the total Hire Fee per rental by Crease.
Crease will pay the Lender once the Product has been returned. The Lender will receive the Hire Fee minus Crease’s service fee of 15% of the total Hire Fee.
Payments will be made via PayPal or bank transfer.
5. Cancellation | Costs & Refunds
Cancellations made less than 14 days before the hire start date will be refunded as to 100% of the total Hire Fee. Cancellations made less than 2 days before the hire start date will be refunded as to 50% of the total hire.
